Strategy One

We will align curriculum, instruction, and assessment to support individual student learning.

 

1. Maximize student achievements and talents.
2. Improve student achievement by meeting all students’ needs through differentiated instruction.
3. Revise Curriculum Development cycle.
4. Develop assessment system to monitor student learning as measured by student profile.
5. Deepen staff understanding of curriculum.
6. Adopt district-wide accountability system - NCA.

Strategy Two

We will insure that appropriate training and tools are provided to fulfill the district’s mission.

 

1. Provide collaborative time during scheduled school day to all staff.
2. Provide guildelines for structuring collaborative time.
3. Facilitator training to increase leadership capacity.

Strategy Three

We will maximize the use of current facilities and investigate additional facility needs.

 

1. Eliminate overcrowding at Sherman Middle School.
2. Prioritize and complete infrastructure and maintenance.
3. Eliminate Davisburg overcrowding.
4. Renovate Patterson and Holly Elementary.
5. Plan for future growth.

Strategy Four

We will assure that all stakeholders are informed and meaningfully involved in all aspects of our mission.

1. Develop rationale for a comprehensive communication system for Holly Area Schools.
2. Logo/Brand development.
3. New newsletter for all district members.
4. External district calendar.
5. Print media.
6. Redevelop district website.
7. Support video production class at the high school for community distribution.
8. Re-establish Holly Area Schools Foundation.
