PARENT AWARENESS NETWORK (P.A.N.)
Parents of special needs children have formed a parent group whose purpose is to inform, educate, and interact with parents as well as to develop and support after school recreational opportunities.
Members believe that through continued learning, sharing of knowledge and experiences as well as keeping abreast of issues – not just in our school, but at the state and federal levels also – we can help our children attain a quality life.
It is the mission of the Parent Awareness Network to act as an information network and support system for parents, teachers, administrators and other professionals to assure that our children receive a quality education, reach their potential and be accepted as able individuals in the community.
P.A.N. meets the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Karl Richter Campus. Please call special services at 248-328-3170 for additional information.
